  1. Nice, I've been looking for a pair for a while but haven't anything in town or on the web for a decent price.

  2. A pair of espadrilles that is, not necessarily these ones

  3. There's some really great options available. These can be found for about 65% off retail price right now, for whatever reason RL thought they'd sell during fall/winter. For that price they're the best quality vs cost option. If you want the minimalist made in spain variety, you can get them imported via canada at about $40 with shipping. That price is kind of steep considering the quality vs. cost equation since it's just for the bare bones variety you'd find in basque country for $5-$10. Tom's is as far as I know not made in Spain and pretty far from authentic in construction, materials and aesthetics. I would probably avoid those unless they're the rugby ones from a couple seasons back. If price is completely out of the question, Hermes makes an outstanding pair with leather trim at every seam. They were out of my price range even on heavy, heavy discount.
